About Appogeny
Appogeny is a no-account web product created by Gaurav Adhikari for turning personal words, photos, music, and small interactions into one unlisted page for someone.

The person behind Appogeny
Hi, I’m Gaurav. I study Artificial Intelligence at Johannes Kepler University Linz, and I build Appogeny from Linz, Austria.
I started with robotics at Budhanilkantha School. That curiosity grew into machine learning, data science, and web development: work that asks both how a system thinks and how a person feels while using it.
Appogeny sits where those interests meet. It uses software to give personal words more room, while leaving the important part—the message itself—to the person writing it.

What does Appogeny make?
It makes a small interactive page from the creator’s words, photos, music, and chosen moments of interaction. The recipient moves through its chapters rather than receiving a public profile or a generic greeting card.
The creator answers three questions, chooses the chapters, previews the real page, replaces the examples, and then publishes one recipient link.
How does ownership work without an account?
Publishing creates two different links. The recipient link opens the page. A separate private edit link is the only credential that can change or delete it. Appogeny cannot recover a lost edit link, so the creator needs to keep it somewhere safe.
This tradeoff removes account setup, but it also means the edit link must be treated like a password.
What does “private” mean here?
Recipient pages are unlisted. Appogeny does not put them in a public gallery and asks search engines not to index them. Anyone with the recipient URL can still open and forward it, so unlisted is not the same as password-protected or confidential.
The public privacy page explains what is stored, which services process it, and how deletion and reporting work. The unlisted-link guide explains the sharing model in more detail.
Why publish these guides?
Metadata can help a useful page get understood, but it cannot make the page useful. Appogeny’s public guides cover the decisions the product knows first-hand: shaping a personal page, understanding how its chapter draft is assembled, previewing the real result, choosing what belongs in a digital keepsake, and sharing an unlisted page responsibly.
The guides will stay focused on subjects the product can explain honestly. Appogeny does not publish invented survey results, customer outcomes, testimonials, or credentials to create an appearance of authority.
